The Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course and Heartcode BLS is designed for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. In this Instructor-led course, which includes active participation in simulated cases, students will enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke and acute coronary syndromes (ACS).
During the course students must pass a written exam and skills tests in order to receive an AHA ACLS and BLS Ecard. The completion cards is valid for 2 years.
A pre-course Self-Assessment with a minimum score of 70% is required for this course.
In order to take this course you need to:
- Bring you completed pretest to class, if unable to print, you can print in class.
- Have a current copy of a ACLS book or ebook to class. Book will be provided in class if needed.
